Design/Build Process

Design-build focuses on combining the design, permit, and construction schedules in order to streamline the traditional design-bid-build environment.

Royle Homes believes that this process has helped them deliver so many projects on time and on budget.

The initial consultation is used to discuss the needs of the client. Here we will talk about:

Budget

“Must-Haves” and “Wish-Lists”

Timeline

We will also take measurements in order to develop a preliminary plan which outlines general locations and changes made to the clients existing space. Once a plan is agreed upon the next step includes:

  • Architectural plans

  • Cabinetry layouts

  • detailed mechanical plans ie. electrical and plumbing layouts

  • Artist renderings

From here the process takes us to the Construction Planning phase of the Plan. Here we will:

  • Make final choices for materials, fixtures, countertops, etc.

  • Any materials needed will be ordered

  • Building permits

  • Construction Schedule

3.

The final step of the process is the actual Build. This phase consists of:

  • Site layout in order to minimize disruption

  • A clean jobsite

  • A timely project

  • A happy customer!
